Indoor Hi-low base ELEPHANT is designed to enhance participation and engagement of the child in everyday life situations.

It facilitates day-to-day activities and social interactions, such are eating, studying, playing with friends, watching TV or listening to the music, at home, at school or anywhere it's needed.

It is necessary complement of all posture systems.

Hi-low frame ELEPHANT is designed to harmonize with child’s growth.

Its is appropriate for children of different age, with different posture characteristics and at different development stages.

Suitable for very young age: starting from 12 months.

BE AT YOUR EASE

Adjustable

Depending on activity, Hi-low base ELEPHANT can be adjusted in height by pressing the foot lever set on the back of the base. With the child secured in the seat, the base can be lowered to floor at sole 26 cm or raised up at table for meals and homework. All accessories are adjustable in order to respect postural characteristics of the user.

Hi-low base ELEPHANT is safe:

The lock down pin blocks the foot lever, preventing its accidental release during adjustment procedures.

FOR DIFFERENT CONTEXTS

Universal

Hi-low base ELEPHANT is designed to support different standard or customized seating systems that can be fixed on it by means of two interlocked dovetail interface slabs.

The interface slabs are simple and easy to fix.

Due to this design it is possible to move the seat on-off the hi-low base Elephant without moving the child.

 

Hi-low base ELEPHANT is safe:

The dovetail join system provides safe and errorless fixing and is secured by means of locking pin.

FROM 0° TO 40°

Tilt in space

Hi-low base Elephant have tilting rage of 40°.
This permits to reach more relaxing supine positions, facilitating thereon transportation of the user.

Tilt in space system allows to keep the seat parallel to the floor during height regulations of the base.

Hi-low base ELEPHANT is safe:

Quick release tilt regulation lever locks the seat in the desired position.

MOVING SMOOTHLY

Agile

Hi-low base ELEPHANT is designed with special attention to safety and comfort of the user as well as carer. The cross frame facilitates all sides access and permits closer contact while assisting or moving the child.

The structure is very light: entire hi-low base weights just 12 kilograms (26,45 pounds).
Four pirouette castors ensure easy manoeuvrability even in very narrow spaces.

All castor wheels have locking lever to secure the stationary position.

Design of Elephant

Hi-low base ELEPHANT can be used by children from early age: just 12 months old.

Special design of ELEPHANT makes possible all regulations with one single hex key.

Hi-low base ELEPHANT can be completed with various accessories that will customize the device for user’s individual needs.
Each accessory has different adjustment possibilities.

Armrests

Two armrests (left and right) have different adjustment possibilities in order to permit installation of different seating systems:

  • hip width adjustment
  • height adjustment
  • depth adjustment
  • inclination adjustment

 

Individual/Single foot support

Single footrest offers individual support for each foot. Each footrest is independently adjustable:

  • inclination adjustment
  • height adjustment
  • prone-supine adjustment
  • divarication adjustment
  • abduction and adduction adjustment
  • extension-flexion adjustment

 

Backrest

Backrest has two different adjustment possibilities in order to permit installation of different seating systems.
If needed, specific head support device can be fixed as well.

  • height adjustment
  • depth adjustment

 

Support tray

Support tray is installed, when necessary, directly to the frame of the Hi-low Base Elephant and remains in the horizontal position independently of the inclination angle of the seating system.
Easy access to the device assures its better control, without compromising user’s comfort and safety.

One piece footrest

If unique support is preferred for both feet, it is advisable to use one-piece footrest, which has the following adjustment possibilities:

  • inclination adjustment
  • height adjustment
  • prone-supine adjustment



Tray

The tray is important accessory that will give to the child possibility to enjoy a variety of activities. It is adjustable in inclination and depth (back-forward movement).
The tray is easy to attach and easy to remove and it doesn’t obstruct the functioning of the Hi-low base Elephant.

Please note that the final decision on type of the hi-low base to be provided, accessories as well as customize options, are direct responsibility of the healthcare professionals.

Accessories are not included in basic configuration.
